N.E

Branding / Apparel Design

The N.E brand was built around a bold yet minimal initials-based wordmark, designed for maximum clarity and versatility across music releases, digital content, and merchandise. The logo features a signature red dot between the initials, acting as both a central visual anchor and a subtle nod to a recording button or laser sight, adding quiet tension to the clean geometry.

Merchandise design draws on personal connection, incorporating Mauritius’ 230 area code and island outline. These elements reflect the artist’s roots in a way that feels personal, wearable, and timeless. Mock-ups included sweatshirts and T-shirt designs that retain the brand’s bold simplicity, allowing the logo and motifs to lead.

Objectives
Create a flexible and recognisable identity for N.E, including a bold logo and location-inspired merchandise design that carries meaning for the artist and his audience alike.

Digital design / Album Art

This project focused on crafting striking artwork for N.E’s single Cinderella. The visual features a bold yellow wall, with a textured surface and deep cracks that subtly reference the underlying themes of broken trust and emotional strain.

The design avoids literal storytelling, instead choosing to elude to the song’s narrative through strong composition and colour. The result is a memorable and emotionally charged cover that mirrors the single’s message while standing out on digital platforms.

Objectives
Design album artwork that reflects the emotional tone of Cinderella, using minimal but impactful imagery to suggest tension and vulnerability without overt explanation.

Digital design / Album Art

For Ain’t Adding Up, the concept revolves around a customised calculator as the central visual. Edited display elements such as “5318008” and the 230 area code add layered references and subtle meaning, encouraging deeper engagement for those who notice the details.

The greyscale palette contrasts with the artist’s signature red brand dot, creating a clean and controlled aesthetic that aligns with the song’s message of imbalance, miscommunication, and unresolved tension.

Objectives
Create a concept-driven artwork for Ain’t Adding Up that uses familiar objects and hidden cues to reflect the themes of frustration and emotional distance.

Digital design / Album Art

April Feelings takes a more abstract, minimal approach. The artwork features a soft blue gradient, designed to let the emotional tone of the track speak for itself. Compared to the artist’s earlier releases, this piece introduces a quieter, more introspective visual direction.

This design adds depth to N.E’s overall aesthetic by offering contrast and variety while still aligning with the clean and controlled brand style established across his visual identity.

Objectives
Design a minimal, mood-led visual for April Feelings, using colour and simplicity to reflect themes of reflection, calm, and emotional space.
